---------------------------------------------------------------------------- North Alabama NSAI Workshop
The North Alabama Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) Workshop meets the 4th Monday night of each month at 6:30PM. We meet in the Clubhouse at Malibu Apartments at 8003 Benaroya Lane, Huntsville, AL, which is one block west of Memorial Parkway South and just south of Martin Road. The apartments are essentially behind the Main Street South and Rosie’s shopping complexes. Coming from the north, go south on Mem Pkwy (Hwy 231), take Boulevard South (first right after Martin Rd), then left on Benaroya Lane. Coming from south Mem Pkwy, turn left on Byrd Spring Rd, then right on Benaroya Lane.
Once you enter the complex, the Main Office is directly in front of you. We meet in the clubhouse, which is in the back side of the Main Office. Please park in the spaces on each side of the Main Office and directly against the building, then follow the sidewalk surrounding the Main Office to the back. Please consider the residents and avoid parking in front of the Laundromat on the right side. The clubhouse is in the back of Main Office and faces the pool which is behind the building. The entrance into the clubhouse is about middle of the bldg.
Following a planned program, songwriting discussion, and/or exercise, we will have a time of song evaluations as time permits. If you’d like to present a song for comments at the meeting, please bring lyric sheets (enough for about 20 attendees, if possible). It really helps everyone follow along and grasp the song in one pass and also gives them a place to write comments. If you take something to Nashville, they will want a lyric sheet, so it’s a good practice to establish in bringing lyric sheets to the meeting.
If you have any problems finding the meeting place, please feel free to call my cell phone at 256-682-2564. Look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting!!
or you can phone 1-800-321-6008. There are also forms available at the meetings, if you would prefer to mail in the payment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Christian Songwriters Group meeting The Christian Songwriters Group meets at the Coffee Tree Books and Brew the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00PM.
